This fall ambitious New York City students will have another option to add to their dream high school list. The new Software Engineering High School established by Mike Zamansky, a computer systems teacher at New York City’s elite Stuyvesant High School will open its doors. Unlike many other elite high schools in New York City this school will not look at outside factors such as student attendance or grades in considering admission. Instead it will look at the student’s interest in the subject and the student’s potential for success. Translation – it will accept bright, motivated students of all levels, not just the ones with the best attendance record or grades.<\/p>\n
At Brainy Academy we pride ourselves on our strong robotics program (ages 12 to 14) and incorporate programming into our courses.
