Tution

  • Tuition is due on the 1st of every month, all payment made after the 5th of the month, will carry a $25 late fee.
  • Please refer to the Registration Contract for payment details.

Montessori Summer Program

Our Summer Program is intended to help prepare your child in variety of developmental areas to make the transition into pre-school as smooth as possible.

Weekly registration available. Monday- Friday 9:30am- 12:30pm

General Rules/ Policy

Arrival & Dismissal

  • Please note your child’s class session times and be on time for school. It is difficult for children to walk into a class in full swing and they may miss work that they really enjoy.
  • Also, students that arrive late, take teachers’ attention from work they are doing with other children.
  • Please help your child develop lifelong habits of promptness. Please make lateness a rare occurrence.
  • Please include all authorized pick up individuals in your child’s Registration Form and make sure to inform the office of any changes immediately.
  • We will not let your child go home with anyone that is not authorized to pick up.

Strollers & Scooters

  • All strollers/ scooters must be folded and hung on the orange hooks by the front door
  • Large strollers/ bikes that do not fold will be given a bike lock to be locked outside

Snacks

  • Snacks (goldfish, cheerios, cheezeit mix) and water are provided in all of our classes. Parents can send in an additional snack with their child if they wish.
  • Please note: there are NO NUT/ PEANUTS and SESAME OIL products allowed in our school.

Birthdays

  • Birthdays are special at Brainy Academy and parents are encouraged to celebrate with their child’s class.
  • Please schedule the celebration date with the teacher and discuss special treats and dietary restrictions with them.
  • We also ask that you bring in a photograph from each year of your child’s life which we can share with the class during the celebration.

llness

  • A child who has had fever, diarrhea or vomiting within the past twenty-four hours may not come to school.
  • Children must be fever-free without fever-reducing medication when they return.
  • Children who are cranky, fatigued, are sneezing and/or coughing or have thick and heavily running mucus should also stay home.

Severe Weather Conditions

  • Brainy Academy will be closed if NYC Public Schools are closed due to severe weather conditions.

Parents please note: only children that separate well will be admitted into the class. If separation is a concern, please review our brainy steps program.
